Dr. Matthews has been a Pediatric Dentist in the Northwest Valley since the summer of 2013 and is a born and raised native of Arizona. He attended A.T. Still University in Mesa for dental school and then completed a two year Specialty Residency in Pediatrics with the Lutheran Medical Center in Tucson, where he was extensively trained in oral conscious sedation and in office IV sedation practices. He has years of experience working with children and enjoys finding ways to make their dental experience as easy and fun as possible.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Matthews and his wife Catherine are busy keeping up with their four daughters! When he is not shuttling the girls between dance competitions and softball games, Dr Matthews spends much of his time outdoors and enjoying the great state of Arizona!
